5LINX® Supports the Rochester Community
5LINX® not only gives monetary support to a variety of causes, employees also donate their time. A group of 12 employees from the corporate headquarters recently gave their time and talents to help build three homes in Rochester, NY through their participation in Habitat for Humanity. Habitat homes are built for low-income, high-need families using donated labor, money and materials.
During the day volunteers painted, helped with landscaping, put up fencing, mixed concrete, as well as assist with any task that could use an extra set of hands. By the end of the day our team of volunteers were tired from the days work, but all agreed the experience was well worth it.
COO, David Shaffer said about the day, “This project allowed 5LINX team members to partner with an incredible organization that improves the quality of life in our community. We are fortunate that 5LINX supports and provides opportunity to participate in fulfilling causes such as Habitat for Humanity.”
