5LINX® Enterprises, Inc hosted its National Training Event at the Dallas Convention Center on May 14–17, 2009 and donated more than $16,000 to the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas before they left town.

At each of the company’s national training events, 5LINX® gives its independent marketing representatives an opportunity to learn about and support the needs of a local children’s organization. On May 16th, Amy Weidner, Director of Corporate Relations and Cause Marketing at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas had the honor of presenting a video to a packed house. The event had record attendance of more than 2200 representatives. After the video, the company’s representatives donated $8,250 dollars to the Medical Center. When Ms. Weidner returned the next day, she learned the company had matched the donation as she received a check for $16,500.

“This was at least four times what we thought we could raise,” said Ms. Weidner. “More importantly this is going to make a huge difference to a lot of kids.” 5LINX® always tries to make a positive impact on the communities it visits for national events. “We know that while we have business to discuss and successes to celebrate, there are children in need in every community,” said Craig Jerabeck, President and CEO of 5LINX®. “I was proud that our extraordinary representatives took the time to open their hearts and wallets for the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. These are the people creating our company’s amazing success and ensuring our future.”
