As we strive to improve our events, we are making changes to the training schedule to accommodate our growth.  We want you to know so you can plan your travel to arrive on Wednesday to take advantage of the product training and SVP Q&A sessions. Then on Thursday, all attendees will benefit from the great main stage training from our 5LINX Advisory Council, and trainings presented in Spanish.

Admittance to Wednesday’s training and Q&A sessions do not require a wristband. However, for Thursday’s trainings, Friday and Saturday general sessions, and the company party, you will need the wristband that you receive with your registration materials at the event.  We hope you are as excited as we are about the upcoming event and continuing the growth of 5LINX in 2013.

2. Important Anaheim Registration Announcement!

The onsite registration process has been streamlined recently to reduce wait time. You now have the opportunity to print off your registration ticket and bring it with you to expedite the process of picking up your registration materials. Every representative will need to have a ticket with your personal registration QR code on it, or have it on the my5LINX app. (You can download the app at my.5LINX.com .) We will then simply scan this QR code, confirm it’s your ticket by matching it to your ID, and print off your badge. Badges won’t be duplicated, so make sure to bring it with you every day, and lost badges cannot be replaced.

Follow these few steps in your VO:

1. Under the ‘Events Tab’ select ‘Ticket Manager.’

2. The first ticket is automatically assigned to your RIN. You can print it or email it to yourself.  Please be aware the name on the first ticket cannot be changed.

3. If you have multiple tickets, assign one to another rep or guest by changing it to their name and putting in their RIN so they can gain the attendance points, if applicable.  They will also then receive an email with their registration code. After you assigned all tickets, hit save and your ticket will then appear in your VO.

NOTE: If anything should change once you assign it to someone, only you can reassign that guest ticket to someone else. Once you reassign it, make sure the original person you assigned it to is aware that it is no longer valid for their use. Each ticket is unique and can only be assigned to one person.

You or your guest can now print the registration ticket ahead of time, which means you don’t have to wait in line with them anymore! If it gets lost, just print it again. It’s one ticket per person, no sharing. Once it’s used during the registration process, it cannot be used again. As stated above, you can also view your ticket from the my5LINXapp. ‘My Tickets’ appears under the ‘Event’ tab. You can only view the code and use it for registration.

Remember, planning ahead will save you waiting time. We look forward to seeing you in Anaheim!

4. Advertising and Promoting Your 5LINX Business.

Promoting your 5LINX Business appropriately is key to your success. At 5LINX we understand that often Representatives desire to create or use marketing materials that are different from those that have been created by 5LINX. Examples of marketing efforts or materials can include but are not limited to; flyers, websites, business cards, videos, booths at trade shows or expos, online advertisements, social media posts, etc. In the event that a representative would like to change existing or create new marketing materials, they must obtain approval from the 5LINX Marketing Department.

In short, any and all marketing efforts containing use of the 5LINX name and/or having content pertaining to the 5LINX Opportunity or the 5LINX Products and Services must be reviewed by the 5LINX Marketing Department prior to use.

Some Important Policies to Remember:

Last week, over 140 SVP’s, guests and specially recognized corporate employees enjoyed five fun-filled days and nights aboard Royal Caribbean’s, Jewel of the Seas! The trip was kicked-off by an elegant private welcome reception, after which guests either retired to their large state rooms, all featuring sea-side balconies, or they took advantage of the ship-board nightlife, which included a Broadway-style theater, a Vegas-style casino and numerous bars, clubs and lounges.

Daytime cruising offered our lucky SVP’s endless options for fun.  From rock-climbing, to mini-golf, basketball, working out in the state-of-the-art fitness center or simply soaking up the sun by one of the six on-board pools or enjoying a relaxing spa treatment, just to name a few.

Adding to the excitement, two ports of calls were visited during the cruise.  The ship first docked in George Town, Grand Cayman.  While there, a special excursion was planned to the Turtle, Stingray Land & Sea Adventure Farm. Guests had the opportunity to explore this world renowned Turtle Breeding Facility, where they saw newly hatched turtles, all the way up to the familiar “gentle-giants”. In addition, many guests took the opportunity to interact in the shallow waters amongst graceful southern stingrays.

The next day, the ship arrived in Cozumel, Mexico, where guests could choose to attend a special all-day beach party at Playa Mia Grand Beach Park. There they enjoyed beach and water sports, world-class shopping, swimming, or relaxing in a hammock or on the white sandy beach.

Another highlight of the cruise, and much anticipated activity is the annual SVP Basketball Tournament.  This year saw the fiercest competition to date, with eight teams fighting it out on the road to victory.  In the end, the championship was won by a difference of only one point, and for the second year in a row by the team of Coreck Payton, Stan Richards, Jay Gerdes, Richard Mosley and Mark Richards.  Coming in as a VERY close second was the team of Lester Garrett, Steve Carter, Conrad Jacques and Aaron Miles.  The third place team was that of Curt Anderson, Phil Gerdes, Jason Guck and Louie Casanas.  Congratulations to all of the big winners!

The trip was a phenomenal success, and the SVP’s left relaxed, refreshed and with a renewed spirit with which to continue to grow their business.  We hope you will take inspiration from this amazing adventure, and do whatever it takes to hit SVP in 2013 to ensure your spot on the next trip! 1.    When will my bonus pay out?

2.    How long do I have to change the enroller or sponsor for a new IMR?
A.    You have three (3) business days from the start date.

3.    How long do I have to move an order from one Rep to another?
A.    You have three (3) business days from the order date.

4.    When do my residuals pay?
A.    Residuals pay 90 days from the order active date. Energy residuals typically pay 120 days from the order active date.

5.    Am I eligible for a refund on my position?
A.    We offer a refund for your Rep agreement if your position is cancelled within 10 business days of your sign up date. You can view our refund policy in document 111 in your Virtual Office.

6.    Am I eligible for a refund on my 5LINX services?
A.    Refunds are not available for any 5LINX monthly services that have already been purchased.  You can view our refund policy in document 111 in your Virtual Office.

7.    I cannot attend the International event coming up, is there a refund available for my ticket?
A.    There are no refunds, transfers or exchanges on the International event tickets. You can view our International event policies in document 123 in your Virtual Office.

8.    How many points is GLOBALINX worth?
A.    The point value for all of our products is located in document 715 in your Virtual Office.

9.    How do I purchase my website?
A.    Web Hosting is included in both Standard and Platinum Services. You can purchase either of these in your Virtual Office under the “Services” tab.

10.    Why do I have to pay an annual renewal fee?
A.    Renewal fees are due after you’ve been an active member with 5LINX for one (1) year. If you have Platinum Services consecutively for 12 months, your annual renewal fee is waived.

4. Three Steps for placing a successful 5LINX High Speed Internet and/or 5LINX Satellite TV order.

1)    Always start the order process by selecting the product from your personal website, and if ordering over the phone, please use the dedicated phone number located at the top of your screen. This will ensure that our partners know that your order is associated with a 5LINX representative.  If you or your customers use any other number, or contact the carrier directly, you will not get credit for the sale.

2)    To receive credit for an order the customer must switch providers. An example of a valid order:  Joan currently has Cox Communications and wants to switch to AT&T.  The key reason that this is a valid order is because she is switching providers. An example of an invalid order:  Sam currently has DIRECTV.  He cancels his current account with DIRECTV and attempts to re-establish service with DIRECTV through 5LINX.  In this example, Sam is not switching providers, and as a result, he will not get credit for the sale.

3)    To review the order status, go to your personal customer report in the VO. Please allow two business days for the order to appear. 5LINX does not work with the carriers directly, so please avoid calling the carrier for an update on the order status.  If you have a question or concern regarding your customer’s order, points or residuals, you can contact Rep Services at, 585-359-2922, or by emailing, repservices@5linx.com.

3. Spanish and Canadian Regional Training Events are a Huge Success!

Due to the extreme growth 5LINX has seen over the past few years, we now require more than one Saturday to accommodate all of our Regional events.  Therefore, last Saturday, the 16^th, our Spanish speaking and Canadian events took place.

The Spanish speaking event, held in Miami, was standing room only.  New Hispanic Market Leaders, Julio Aquino and Al Ayala,  presented to not only Spanish speaking reps, but many English speaking reps who came out to support their Hispanic team members.

The two Canadian Regional Events in Toronto and British Columbia were headed by some of our top field leaders, and co-founder Jason Guck.  During these events many representatives were promoted to new positions, including new SVP Joy Marie Vincent, who was awarded her new BMW in British Columbia!  In addition, many new representatives joined the 5LINX family, and new exciting promotions were announced.

Our March Regional Events exceeded our expectations, with attendance being almost double that of the events held last November. 4. The 5LINX Energy Program- Large Commercial Energy Update!

Any large commercial energy leads that are submitted through the 5LINX Commercial Energy portal will now be sent to America Approved. They will be the exclusive broker that will be processing large commercial leads. Both 5LINX and Diversegy have mutually agreed to part ways. America Approved Energy Services is one of the nation’s largest procurement firms that have been in business for nearly 10 years. Nothing changes in the submission of the large commercial process. You must still submit three bill copies, signed LOA, and complete the online enrollment through your VO. After your lead has been submitted it will then be processed by America Approved. In addition, all leads in the New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania markets are required to have $500 in monthly billing.  Markets in the Georgia, Texas, District of Columbia, California and Florida markets must exceed $350 in monthly billing with the exception of IL,CT and OH, where the monthly billing must exceed $2000.

America Approved- $10 Gift Card Promotion
We are also running a Large Commercial Energy Promotion through America Approved. Any complete Large Commercial Energy lead submitted to 5LINX will receive a $10 gift card! All complete leads must include three full bill copies, signed LOA, and an online enrollment. An additional $10 gift card will also be awarded when the deal is closed with America Approved.
