Here at 5LINX, we have some of the best products in the industry – but you still may encounter people who take quite a bit of convincing before they are sold on something. That’s why knowing how to close the deal is such a vital part of direct sales. Here are some different techniques you can use to help you close the deal with your next customer!
- The 1-2-3 Method:
This method is pretty straightforward. When talking about one of our products, describe its benefits in groups of three. For example, if you’re trying to sell Hi5 Edge to a potential customer, you could say “Hi5 Edge helps boost your metabolism, support healthy aging, and improve your endurance.” Grouping in threes helps to drive your point home and is proven to stick with the customer long after the conversation had ended.
- The Calendar Close:
Not everyone is ready to commit to something right on the spot. Give your customer the option to meet with you at a later date. The more you pressure them, the more you’ll drive them away. Patience is key. Remember, you’re trying to get them to be your customer or your business partner. No one likes being pestered the whole time they’re in a store, same thing applies here. Plan to meet with them at a later date when they’ve had a chance to think about it. This is when your 1-2-3 Method will come in handy!
- The Testimonial Close:
This closing technique uses the experience of other people to help close on a potential customer. Have you heard about the Hi5 Challenge? Take a look at our Success Stories to show potential customers the before and after photos of our contestants, It’s a great way to show them what people can achieve and look like when they use our Hi5 Wellness Products!
- The Knowledge Close:
No one is going to take you seriously if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Being able to accurately and confidently answer someone’s questions about one of our many products will show them that you know these products inside and out. Make sure to study the product portfolio located in your Virtual Office under “Documents” to really know your stuff. Learn everything from ID Guard to 5LINX Energy.
These are just a few of the methods you can use to close a deal with your next customer. Find what works best for you. Stick with it, improve on it, and start closing today!
